All parents and carers are members of our thriving PTFA which has a very important role in our school community. Firstly, bringing together children and their families in the social aspects of school life, and secondly raising valuable funds for the children to enhance their learning and the environment that they work and play in. We also help to instil a community spirit throughout the school 'family' i.e. the teachers, pupils, parents, and extended families. We do this with events such as the annual Summer Fete, regular School Discos, Fashion Show, Family Barbecue, Wine & Wisdom and Christmas Fayre; events that involve the whole school, pulling together to make memorable, fun and successful occasions.
All of the funds raised from events arranged by the PTFA are fed back into the school with purchases that would not be possible without the profits of the PTFA. We make a conscious effort to benefit as many pupils as we can with items such as interactive white boards, a potting shed and gardening equipment, projectors for the classrooms and the climbing wall, to name but a few!
There is always space for new faces at our once-per-term meetings, you will be welcomed with a smile, cuppa and a biscuit! Alternatively sign up to help at any of the events that we hold throughout the year – just an hour or two would be greatly appreciated. The more support we gain, the more money we raise and the more we can spend on your children's learning and happiness!
