Buddy Programme
Project Salus runs Peer Mentoring Schemes in Primary and Secondary schools in the Swale area. The Buddy Programme offers children involved the opportunity to develop valuable life skills. These include listening and communication skills, problem solving, teamwork and helping others to achieve. They also look at relevant issues such as bullying and behaviour.
In order to be selected to take part in the Buddy Programme, the children needed to complete an application form to show that they were willing and committed to being a ‘Buddy’ to younger pupils at the school.
The following children from Year 5 have successfully taken part in the programme and are now St Peter's Catholic Primary School's 2016 Buddies
