Dear Lord,

Living here in the UK, we thank you for bringing all the different cultures from around the world to live here,

This allows us to respect other people's traditions and cultures,

St Clare of Assisi was Italian and we have celebrated her culture, at Christmas time, we pray for peace and happiness around the world,

We wait in hope for the coming of Jesus, like La Befana, the good Italian witch,

We pray for all families, especially those less fortunate, that they have a safe and peaceful Christmas,

Let us all, this Christmas, be grateful for what we are given.
