RE

Join with us as we say, ths prayer for the start of our new school year.

God of wisdom and might,
we praise you for the wonder of our being,
for mind, body and spirit.
Be with our children as they begin
a new school year.
Bless them and their teachers and staff.
Give the strength and grace as their bodies grow;
wisdom and knowledge to their minds
as they search for understanding;
and peace and zeal to their hearts.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

RE(1)

Following our recent Section 48 RE Inspection the Governors, Staff and Fr Jim are pleased to announce that St Peter's has been judged to be OUTSTANDING in all areas: in Overall Effectiveness of the school in providing Catholic Education, Outcomes for Pupils, Leaders and Managers and Provision.   The report makes clear that the school motto "Unlocking Love for Life Long Learning, for God, for Ourselves and for Others" truly represents St Peter's.  The Report also mentions that 90% of parents returned the questionnaires and were so overwhelmingly positive about the school's Catholic ethos as well as the Religious Education their children receive.  Mrs Owen is incredibly proud of the staff, pupils and parents of St Peter's and thanks the whole School and Parish communities for their continued support.  If you would like to read the Report please click here.  If you would like a hard copy of the Report, please let the office know.

Each class will go to Church once a term to attend the 10 o’clock Mass.

Each class will lead an assembly at 2:45pm once a seasonal term and parents/carers and Fr Jim will be invited.

Parents and other family members are always welcome to join us at church, please let your child's class teacher if you will be attending.
