Welcome to the Learning Ladybird's class page, 

We, in the Learning Ladybird Team, are committed to making learning both engaging and exciting for every child in our class and we hope that you will be able to come to the classroom regularly to see just how special learning through play continues to be during the reception year of the Foundation Stage.  

We will teach a rich and varied curriculum which will encapsualte all of the Early Learning Goals required by the end of the year.  Included in this learning, will be PE. This will be taught in the hall on a Friday morning, so please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school before then.

We will soon begin to send books home for you to enjoy with your child; we will invite you and your child to choose these books from a collection in our classroom which has been especially selected for your child.

Your child's Love to Learn book is the place to find the short and practical activities that we set for  you to complete each week.  You can record the work in there too, but there is presently no obligation for a specific amount or type of work to be completed.  Like all learning for our four and five year olds, it should be interactive and fun.
